Update - 6 April 2008

A new version of the +3e ROMs (v1.36) is now available.

The main improvement is that the boot speed has been greatly improved for ATA interfaces (anything except ZXUSB, ZX-Badaloc & ZXMMC+).

There are additionally some fixes for the ZXUSB version.

I should also point out that MB02+ and MB02+IDE owners may use the versions of the +3e ROMs provided for divIDE, since the hard disk interface used is the same.

Update - 16 March 2008

A new version of the +3e ROMs (v1.35) is now available. As well as a raft of bug-fixes, there are a couple of major improvements: firstly, the +3e will now detect a single drive whether it is configured as a slave or master (previously only master drives could be detected singly); and secondly, drive detection now works correctly after a NEW or soft reset, rather than requiring a power cycle. This is especially useful for users of ResiDOS.

Support has also been added for the new second drive option of the ZXCF+ and ZXCF+2 interfaces, as well as an optimised version for the ZXCF+2 and a new version (still in development) for the ZXUSB interface on the new ZX-Matrix interface. Full details of these interfaces may be found on Sami Vehmaa's Homepage.

Full details of all changes can be found on the What's New page.

Additionally, the IDESpeed benchmark has been completely revamped, and now includes 4 speed tests. It now also runs on ResiDOS.
