Z88 Hints & Tips

Try the command <>COBRA in PipeDream
Set the timeout value in the panel to 2mins (saves batteries)
DON'T leave anything resting on the keyboard - it'll drain the batteries
Always keep backups of your files on EPROM or another computer
Use slot 1 for RAM, slot 2 for ROM & slot 3 for EPROM
Create a BOOT.CLI file on your EPROM to prepare your default settings
Split large PipeDream documents into small ones with a list file (saves memory)
Add a *NAME statement to BASIC programs, to show up in the Index
Don't use the Z88 in the garden on a hot day - the screen goes funny
Always keep a spare set of alkaline batteries with you
Use a mains PSU when using the Z88 indoors
Before repowering a completely drained Z88, remove any EPROM in slot 3 to reduce the chances of EPROM corruption
