==================== REVERSAO (ZX-SOFT) ==================== REVERSAO is a puzzle game where the player must move blocks from the top of a column to another, in order to transform certain patterns using a minimum number of moves. ============= HOW TO PLAY ============= There are 8 patterns labeled from A to H. The initial game screen shows the record achieved for each pair of patterns (source and target respectively). From there, you can SAVE or LOAD the entire table of records from tape. Press '0' to play the game, then choose the source and target patterns using Cursor or Sinclair controls. This will give you access to the playing area. The pattern is transformed by moving blocks between columns. First select the topmost block of a column, then choose another colunm for destination. You can also use a special move that works as follows: if the two topmost blocks in a column have the same color, you can select and move both blocks together, as long as the destination column also has another block with the same color at the top already. The main challenge for the player is to find opportunities to take advantage of this special move, in order to achieve new records. For instance, without the special move, transformation from pattern B to E would require at least 24 moves. Using the special move, the same transformation can be performed in only 20 moves. Also notice that special moves are not reversible, i.e. the same sequence of moves cannot be applied to transform pattern E back to B, which makes the game even more challenging. From the playing area, you can also press 'ENTER' to access a sub-menu with additional options to return to the main menu, restart current level, or continue playing. ======= CREDITS ======= Produced by *ZX-SOFT* Brasil Ltda (c)1989.
