Planet Proton - Mark Rawson (Your Sinclair-December 86-Page 60) The Game Planet Proton, is once again the scene of the Tournament. The favourite game is, as always, the Gold Rush scenario, a strategy game for 2-4 players where the players burrow underground in suits equipped with powerdrill gloves. The powerdrills don't allow the player much control, mind you. You can just specify the direction you want to go in, and off you blast, in a straight line through the soil until you hit the sides of the arena, or an opponents tunnel. Although you get few points for any tunnel you drill, it's handy if you can pick up a few gems along the way, as these are worth many more points. And you get to keep them! (ie. I reentered my own program, line by line back into an emulator - it took me longer to re-type than it did to write it back in 1986) - probably due to the lack of key-legends on the PC keyboard. (Okay, *YOU* tell me how to access the ATTR keyword without looking it up...) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TYPE: Strategy COMMENT: The file was send to me by the author of the game, Mark Rawson.
