Anne Marshall has turned her inventive fingers to programming this variation

of John Conway's game of LIFE. It makes good use of the colour available on

Spectrum, and shows a novel approach to the program. We'll be discussing the

game of LIFE in detail in the next issue of ZX Computing, and telling you how

you can write a program to play it from scratch - working it out from the pri-

mary algorithm. But for now, save all that thinking, and give Anne Marshall's

program a whirl.
