Tel: 0233 22318 INSTRUCTIONS 1. Objective The object of the game is to help Bobo, a young African girl, to get home safely from school through the jungle. 2. First Part - Bobo the Mastermind In the first part you have to help Bobo select the right objects, which are hidden randomly, in the four blue jars in front of the jungle school. Bobo is represented on screen by a small black head with desperately blinking eyes. Control Bobo by using the arrow keys 5 and 8 or a Kempston joystick. To select an object use the up arrow key or the joystick. You can try six times and if you interpret the clues correctly, you should be able to find out all four objects. 3. Second Part - The Adventure When jungle creatures attack Bobo, they don't want to kill her. They just want to stop her because she has something they want. Bobo then starts her journey through the jungle in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. After choosing the level of difficulty, the hiding places of the jungle creatures will be shown for a very brief moment. Memorising these plays a key role in successful scoring. Now you have to manoeuvre Bobo to her hut in the top right hand corner of the screen, trying to avoid the jungle lakes - Bobo can't swim! Bobo must also avoid the invisible hiding creatures. Control Bobo by using your joystick or the cursur direction keys. Bobo carries the objects won in the first part and can pick up some more when passing a jungle shop. When she is stopped by gorillas, snakes, cannibals or huge owls, she has to give them a coconut, an egg, a hamburger or a book by pressing the keys C, E, H or B respectively. When passing a jungle shop she can pick up any of these objects by pressing the appropriate key. Points are gained by reaching the hut in the shortest possible time and at the same time trying to give as many objects to the available creatures as possible. Giving one object to the appropriate creatures gains you more than three times more points than just picking it up and carrying it to the hut! 4. Levels of Difficulty There are five levels of difficulty. At the higher levels you get more points but you have less time. 5. Hall of Fame You can record your scores in the Hall of Fame.
