There was terror in the village of Woodfleet. This
normally friendly, wooded haven, nestling
between the dark places and crags of the Black
Forest and the Gaelic Sea, now knew the power
of Macros the Necromancer and his minions -
the Zombie Makers.

Only you, an Apprentice Magician, may be able
to find the Amulets of Peter the Woodcutter and
return them to his cart. If you succeed then
Macros and his hordes will be forever
condemned to wander the lost places of Hades
and banished from the sight of Humankind.

There are many things of use to you in the forest
to help your miserable knowledge of the arcane
arts that will enable you to overcome the "Evil
Ones". So you must seek Cloaks of
Invulnerability, Books of Power to recharge your
skills, and life giving bottles and even
teleporters. But remember that all other beings
are pitted against you as well as Macros and his
Evil Ones.

When you have collected the Amulets, which will
be recorded in the Manuscript of Light at the
bottom of the screen together with the Passage
of Time, you must race back through the lost
places of The Black Forest, avoiding the Zombie
Makers, in less time than you have taken to
collect the Amulets before Woodfleet can return
to happiness and prosperity. So "Bon Voyage"
and Good Luck!
