Warning! This game is inspired in Dark Souls (From Software ps3, 360, PC), so it is likely that if you do not read the instructions, you will not understand how to progress in the game. Dark Souls is famous for its extreme difficulty, although I tried to make this game a little easier. Controls: O Left P Right Q Up / Shield A Down / Bonfire M Use magic (Only if you previously visited the sorcerer) SPACE Attack with your sword Bonfires: Place yourself next to them and press A to use them. When you get killed, you will start again in that point, in adittion of recovering the whole level of energy. On the other hand, all the enemies which were killed, will appear again. The point for this is having enemies close to you in order to raise the level of your hero. Souls: In Dark Souls they were very useful, but in this game they will only raise your level. Gather enough Souls and you will raise your level. If you get killed, the gathered Souls will be lost, and in order to recover them, you will have to go back to the same screen where you got killed. If you are killed on the way, you will not be able to recover the ones you were looking for, but you will be able to recover the ones you just lost. Hero Level: Raising your level has some advantages: -You will have bigger energy capacity -You will have more stamina, which will allow you to get tired less fast .You will gain agility, performing more efficient attacks Do not worry if your hero seems to be too slow in the beginning. When you raise your level a couple of times, you will notice a big difference. I strongly recommend to reach the final Boss with at least level 5 and a lot of magic. Otherwise I would bet on your death :) Life Bar At the beginning, when you start with a level 1, your maximum capacity of life is quite reduced. Raise the level of your hero to have more capacity. Stamina Bar When you move or hit an enemy, you will get tired, making the your hero move or attack more slow. To recover some stamina, do not move or cover yourself with the shield. Going up or down ladders will not reduce your stamina, but it will not recover it either. Magic: To use the magic in Souls, you will first have to find the sorcerer. Magic helps you defeat quickly your enemies and get their souls, and also to open magical doors. It is recommended to keep it and use it wisely, since in the end of the game it will be very necessary, and it could be possible that you have to walk back to pick some magic pot or visit the sorcerer again. Keys: They are necessary to open metallic doors you will find on the way. Magic Pots They will give you one unit of magic, but in order to use it, you will need to have learned how to use the magic by visiting the sorcerer before. Barrels: Besides being a bit annoying to destroy, they may hide a key or a magic pot. Doors: There are 2 kind of doors: Metallic doors and magical doors. The first ones can be opened with a key, and the magical ones by using the magic when you are next to them. Ladders: Press Q to go up and A to go down, but remember that you will not be able to leave the ladder until you get to the very top or very bottom of it. If, while you are going down a ladder, you find another platform level, you will not be able to access it. Falls: In Dark Souls, falling could reduce your energy or even kill you. In this game, thanks to me :D you will be luckier if you fall. Your mission: The goal of the game is to find your way to the final monster and kill it. As simple as that. Good luck and thanks a lot for playing Souls!
