Using your swimmer, you have to choose a pair of letters from the selection hanging overhead, and move them up or down the ladder until they are alongside a word they would fit. At the beginning of the game you can choose: a) The SKILL LEVEL (1-5) - sets the number of mistakes that will be allowed before the game ends (1=Easy) b) Which letter pairs you want to use (type Y(es) for the ones you do want, N(o) for the ones you don't , then ENTER/RETURN) c) The number of players (1-2) d) Which keys you would like to use (SPECTRUM ONLY) INSTRUCTIONS 1) Move the swimmer up and down the ladder, and underneathe the letter pairs using: AMSTRAD CPC 464/6128: Cursor keys. ATARI ST: Cursor keys. COMMODORE 64: < (left) > (right) A (up) Z (down)/ Joystick. SPECTRUM 48K/128K/+3: Keys you have chosen/Joystick. 2) Press RETURN/ENTER or FIRE (or your chosen SPECTRUM key) when your swimmer is underneath a pair of letters you would like to use. 3) Press RETURN/ENTER or FIRE (or your chosen SPECTRUM key) when you have moved the letters alongside the right word.
