			INSTRUCTIONS
A story of high drama and daring deeds from the annals
of our hero BEAR GEORGE.
			 Episode 1
		    PICNIC AT APPLE ROCK
Can you help George survive 'unbearable' hazards in forest
and deep cold of the mountains, and then live through
hibernation?
George must eat as many apples as he can so that he may
tackle the dangers on the way to his cave to hibernate for
the winter. But watch out for the dastardly squirrel, skiers
and spiders - all of whom would just love to see George
starve!
I'm afraid that's all we're going to tell you, some hazards will
only stun, others will kill - it's up to you to find out and
reach the cave with enough fat left to carry on the age old
game of survival!
		     LOADING INSTRUCTIONS
	   Type LOAD "" CODE, press ENTER and play

			COMMAND SUMMARY
Joystick - Cheetah R.A.T., Kempston, Interface 2.
Fire button - increases speed (but uses up energy!)
Keyboard - choose your own keys for movement and speed.
(Instructions are on-screen.)
Pressing ENTER at any time freezes the game and gives an
option menu.
Weight Scale - shows you how much fat you have left.
Red = too little. Yellow = too much.
			  Bon Appetit!
SPECIAL NOTE: Watch out, an apple a day keep the doctor away -
but too many apples will cause the most horrific indigestion!
