Frequency analyser K Shields, Birkenhead, Merseyside. This program is written for and converts the 48K Spectrum into a frequency analyser. When music or sound is played in through the ear socket, a graph on the screen - generated by machine code - shows the frequencies present in the sound and the relative amplitude of those frequencies. The easiest way of seeing this is to plug a cable from the ear socket of the Spectrum and play a tape containing music. The graphic produced is a bar graph showing the low- est frequencies at the top of the screen and the highest at the bottom; the amplitude is shown across the screen.
