The training was gruelling, the
competition stiff. But you have
proved yourself a pilot without equal.
Now it's time for action in the world's
most advanced defensive weapon
... Flyer Fox.

You must escort a commercial jumbo
jet through dangerous skies. Use
your eyes and your ears to help win
the day. You will receive warning over
the radio of attacks and of damage
to the jumbo. So keep those
afterburners warm and your
reactions fast. Be warned, the enemy
are likely to sneak up on the jumbo
just as you are fighting a deadly duel
elsewhere!

Game Play:
To control the aircraft use a joystick
or keyboard. Note the instrument
panel in front of you. To the left you
have a scope, you are the centre dot,
this tells you the relative height of
other aircraft in the vicinity. The
artificial horizon is in the centre, this
demonstrates your banking, climbing
and descending. The compass on
the right will prove most useful to find
the jumbo quickly. As you progress
through the levels of play you will be
given more fuel, if you run out before
destroying all the enemy planes it's
the ground floor, and rather fast I'm
afraid! When you have a fighter
squarely in your sights you will hear
the on-board homing computer warn
you. If you fire the missile in time, it
will automatically hit the enemy even
though they might veer away from
you field of vision ..... it locks on.
