Assemble the cassette tape at the silent part before the program. 2. Connect the EAR socket of the SPECTRUM to the EAR or LOUDSPEAKER socket on your cassette recorder. 3. Adjust the volume of the cassette recorder to 3/4 maximum and the tone controls to maximum trebble and minimum bass. 4. Press LOAD "" Do not press ENTER yet. 5. Start the cassette player and now press ENTER. Instructions in Program. FLIGHT SIMULATOR You have to fly your one engined plane and land it successfully on the runway. It is advisable to familiarise yourself with the controls before you start. CONTROLS B - Breaks On/Off C - Change Beacon D/U - Down/Up R/L - Right/Left J - Less Flap K - More Flap P - Power Increase O - Power Decrease M - Map On/Off G - Gear Up/Down The screen display is of the cockpit with various controls and displays. Some of them are self explanatory but the following are now defined: DME - Distance Measuring Equipment ROC or ROD - Rate of Climb or Descent ALT - Altitude Meter The CRT monitor acts as an artificial horizon or a map of the suurounding area. N.B. Take off will not be achieved at speeds below 100 Knots. When landing, try to achieve a glide path of 6-800 feet per minute. The CRT monitor will not indicate permission to land unless your angular approach is +/- 10° of ideal. Good Luck!
