Clever Clogs - Party time for age 3+ (c)1983 Computertutor Part of Computertutor's Clever Clogs series [From inlay sleeve] PARTY TIME for Age 3+ In all there are six games to play at the party after you have received your invitation. You can choose which one or sometimes Clever Clogs, the computer, will choose. When it asks your name, don't worry about capitals just use lower case letters. Press ENTER after answering a question. 'Counting' , 'Findit' and 'How many' teach the use of numbers, arithmetic and using a computer keyboard. 'Matchup' is an aid to shape recognition. 'Gobbler' and 'Paintbox' develop coordination, colour sense and timing. When playing the last two games use the cursor keys marked with arrows to move around the screen. To stop 'rub-out' press 2 a second time. If you have a printer plugged into the Spectrum the print instructions will appear automatically. Playing the games well will raise the score, reach 15 points and you can have the Birthday Cake, press B to blow the candles out. Note for Parents ---------------- When setting the difficulty levels start at an easy one so as to not scare them off. At this age concentration wanders if the game is too difficult. You can easily reset it and gradually make it more challenging; it will keep them busy for hours and you'll get a flying start to their early schooling. SECRET PARENTS PAGE! -------------------- All whizzkids have different skill levels and abilities. By pressing CAP SHIFT and Q together, when the message "Press p to play" comes up, you can reset the questions. Just follow the screen prompts, its child's play.
