THE BOYD FILE (Zenobi Software) Spectrum 48K/128K+2 "Set in the fictional world of the "Private-Eye", this story owes much to the likes of Raymond Chandler, Mickey Spillane and the other writers of this genre. For some unknown reason there has always Been a certain "fondness" for these times and the "heroes" who strode through the pages of the many paperbacks that chronicled their existence. Perhaps it was the "devil-may-care" attitude of the characters themselves or perhaps it was just the whole feeling of the period that appealed to the millions who read the books. Either way a good tale of fast guns and faster women was always a sure-fire way in which to while away a few hours and provide the reader with a means to get away from the hum-drum life of normal everyday existence. The "BOYD FILE" is no exception to this and should provide a source of good entertainment to anybody who cares to load it up. So be prepared to become embroiled in a web of intrigue and a world of "P.I.s", "Hoods" and "Hit-Men" ...... " GOBLIN GAZETTE '91 THE STORY SO FAR ... Of late business had been, to say the least, slow and the thought of joining the ranks of the "extras" down at the nearby film-studio was something that had been figuring pretty prominently in Luthor Bailey's mind ... In fact it was growing more appealing by the day! However, all that was to change, though perhaps the film-studio would still feature in the scheme of things, when Luthor was presented with his latest case. Known simply as the "BOYD" file, it would lead him into many dangerous situations and down many a dark alleyway before he would finally crack it ... that is if he ever could!!!! This is a gripping tale full of "mobsters", "black sedans" and "gorgeous dames", and like any good self-respecting detective story it has its hero ... this time around he is none other than ... LUTHOR BAILEY (Private Eye).
