Very
good emulator with excellent emulation
of hi-res colour effects. It doesn't
emulate border effects however. The
problems experienced with Soundblaster
cards in earlier versions seems to have
been eliminated with this release. One
other nice feature is that it supports
the execution of ZIP and RAR compressed
files. The only drawback of this
otherwise excellent emulator is the lack
of support for the +3.

is without a doubt one of the
best emulators for MS DOS. It Emulates
all the official Sinclair machines from
the 48K to the +3 and also includes
support for the "Pentagon" and
"Scorpion". One of its better
qualities
is the sound, it emulates the AY chip
and the beeper perfectly, both through
the soundcard. Hardware emulation is
also of a high standard with almost all
the "tricks" that can be done
on a real Spectrum working on this
emulator such as hi-res colour effects.
As a result practically all commercially
released games work perfectly. The
emulator also takes advantage of the
power of your PC in order to load TZX
files extremly quickly.
