I am no longer actively developing Z88 software, but Dominic Morris’ projects are still ongoing.
Beta releases of the last projects I was working on are available in archived messages at the Z88 Development Group on Yahoo. They include:
Surely the most exciting project due for release this year is the eagerly-awaited TCP/IP stack from Dominic Morris, now known as ZSock.
The latest version is available for download from Dominic's site, and really lets you connect to the internet and do useful things by telnetting to hosts or mailservers. You will need an ISP that provides SLIP connections at the moment, though.
The TCP/IP stack has been made available to other programmers using the new Packages system, so you can expect several Internet-enabled applications to follow.
Thierry is working on a utility for displaying HTML documents on the Z88 in a readable format.
You can download the current pre-release version (in RAM-installable format) together with source from here: htmv02.zip
This is a rather specialised program which logs calls going through a Teltrend iQ420 terminal adaptor. Contact Julian on the development list if you would like more information.
Thierry Peycru is currently working on a program to play industry-standard .WAV files through the Z88's loudspeaker, presumably to prove that you don't need a 2-ton Pentium multimedia Windows 95 notebook to make a nuisance of yourself on the train/plane/bus etc!
