Shown to the left is one version of the "super twister".

Note: the upper connector is for Spectrum-compatible peripherals, the port to the right is for TS2068 peripherals, there is an RGB interface on the upper left side and the connector on the bottom is for connecting to the 2068.

This is a "twister" board. The only connection that can be made is to Spectrum-compatible peripherals on the upper port.

The green connector on the bottom is for connecting to the TS2068. TS2068 peripherals could only be used if they had a pass-through connector. This was included, along with the Omni-EMU Spectrum emulator, when you purchased a ZX Interface 1 and Microdrive(s) from English Micro Connection.

The black protruding object on the far left of the board is a heatsync.
