The object of the game is to clear each grid of pods and avoid being 

blasted by 'Guardians'. 



The program runs on any ZX Spectrum. 



LOADING. Position the cassette in your tape recorder with the printed 

side upwards and make sure that it is rewound to the beginning. Ensure

that the connection lead goes from the EAR socket on the recorder to 

the EAR socket on the Spectrum and that the MIC socket is 

disconnected. 



Type LOAD "" <ENTER> (Note there is no space between the two quotes) 

the " is obtained by pressing SYMBOL SHIFT and the P key 

simultaneously. For further instructions consult chapter 6 of your 

manual. Now press PLAY on the recorder. The screen message should 

appear and the game will load automatically. If this does not happen 

try adjusting the volume and tone controls up until loading takes 

place. At the end of the loading process follows the screen 

instructions. 



PLAYING. Your mission as Captain of the 'ELIMAX' is to enter the 

Galatic Grid and eliminate the Alien Pods, passing over them with your

Raydon Field. The Guardians will try to stop you by firing along both 

Axis of the Grid with Lazers and Blasters. As each Pod area is cleared

you move to another and the Guardians become more vicious in the 

attempts to protect their Spawn. 



STATUS AND SCORING. On screen scoring shows current score hi-score, 

lives left and grid level. The level determines the points for each 

pod from 1-100, the spirals in each alternate grid are worth 50 

points. To loose a life in the Spiral Grid takes you to the next level

of Pods where each life lost returns you to the beginning of that 

level. 



CONTROLS. Your ship can be moved by either keyboard controls or 

joystick. Follow screen message for joystick instructions.

N — Left 	S — Restart
