ÿþTerry The Turtle Instructions The Story After a major hurricane the turtles hatch to find the run across the beach to the ocean even more difficult as the whole island has been transformed by the bad weather,in this game you play Terry who has quite an adventure on his way to deep sea. Flashing Terry Tokens award lives but do not have to be collected to complete the game,you just have get Terry to deep water. Controls The usual QWOP,etc. with SPACE to jump or push through tough sand and material. Sound Main screen-The baby turtles running along the beach avoiding danger to reach deep sea is almost WWII Normandy in reverse so I have created a very simple military style ditty with a heart beat that flat-lines. Ingame-Terry`s fast little heart beat. Zones There are game 8 zones usually indicated by the colour of the screen border.(although night time screens have black borders and bonus screens may have their own colour). 1. Beach (Yellow Border) 2. Subterranean Ruins (Cyan Border) 3. Fungi Caves (Green Border) 4. Ancient Greece Zone (Magenta Border) 5. HADES (Black Border) 6. Rana Zone (White Border) 7. ??????? (Blue Border) The game is designed to be played through in one attempt and can be completed by a competent player in around 1 hour but people do have varying skill so to solve this problem I have released three versions of the game at the same time indicated by colour (I guess in a similar way to the Gameboy Pokemon games),the games are Terry The Turtle Yellow,Cyan and Red so now people can can choose the challenge or simply attempt them all. YELLOW - (Normal) The standard game with lots of lives and even more to be found if your curious. JSW and Manic Miner pro`s with an understanding of the tiles and physics will have little trouble here. If you are good at these types of games and constantly use the emulator save state you can collect so many lives you can slow down or even crash the game!. CYAN - (Intermediate) Less Terry tokens around than the Yellow version and some screens may have an extra enemy or faster moving ones,screens may have new features or be replaced totally on the game map. RED - (Hard) This has even less Terry tokens than the Cyan version and more enemies,many moving quickly.
