SUPER TROLLEY (Mastertronic) Play starts on a Monday, the easy day of the week for a supermarket. You are relaxing in the back room, when the store manager comes in with another job for you to do. You must complete the task within the time limit if you are to gain any points. If you really mess up and fail to finish, then your score will go down and keep on counting down until you do. When you have finished you return to the back room and another assignment. To complete the task of stacking shelves you need to collect your trolley, take it through the warehouse to collect the items you need, then take it out into the store and start putting them on the correct shelf. Sounds easy, doesn't it, but of course there are people to avoid, and the shoppers will moan if you were to run into them, and should the manager get to hear too many complaints he is going to get rid of you. Dogs occasionally get into the store, and you know what dogs are famous for. You will need to round them up and clear up the mess, which of course takes away the time that you should be spending stacking the shelves. Of course there are other friendly porters that have such a wondrous sense of fun, so they just might decide to unstack the shelves for a giggle. And of course the shoppers may well take the bottom can from the stack, causing it to topple. Not forgetting those wonderful kids, and if the gang decides to come in and cause some havoc, maybe throw some cans around, guess who will be asked to sort it out? If you manage to make it through the whole of the day you will move on to the next. As you go through the week the store gets busier, so the jobs get harder. If you thought that Monday was bad, just wait till you reach Saturday and the hordes of weekend shoppers. The days are of fixed length, so if you play fast to amass the big bonuses you will have to complete more tasks, and so there are more chances that you will really mess it up. If you take things slowly, you will score less, so one mistake may well prove disastrous, but then you have less to do. The choice is all yours. You will need to learn the best ways around the store; if you know which way to go you will complete the tasks so much quicker. Be careful that you do not get caught up in the bottlenecks that build up as the store gets busy. If your score drops to zero then the manager will sack you, but should you do really well and have scored enough points by the end of the week you will be promoted. If you keep on improving you will eventually be able to replace him. CONTROLS SPECTRUM Choice of joystick options or redefinable keys.
