SHUTTLE Your objective is to guide your shuttlecraft down to the surface of the planet Nexon, rescue the stranded patrol who's space craft has crashed there. They have cleared two landing sites for you, and you must land on these or you will suffer their fate. You start your mission with three shuttlecraft, to release you craft from the mothership you must pull your joystick down or press key 6. You now maneuver it through the asteroid belt and onto the cleared landing sites. The sideways thrust rockets are the only, weapons you have to keep out of the way of the asteroids. On a sucessful landing one crew member will run towards the shuttlecraft and enter. On you ascent you will have to pass through the asteroid belt again and dock with the mothership. You must continue the mission until all of the crashed patrolmen have been saved, Good Luck. SCORE LINE Each patrolman into shuttle 10 pts Each patrolman into mothership 20 pts All six men rescued wins a bonus of 100 pts SCREEN DISPLAY top left - score centre - shuttlecraft remaining top right - high score CONTROLLING YOUR GAME Your game can be controlled by plugging in your AGF or KEMPSTON joystick interface before commencing the game If using KEYS: 5 = Left, 6 - Down, 7 = Up, 8 = Right. LOADING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Connect the EAR socket on your Spectrum to the EAR socket on your recorder and ensure the MIC lead is disconnected. 2. Place the cassette tape in the recorder with the labelled side uppermost and rewind to the beginning. 3. Type LOAD"" and then press the ENTER key. NOTE: Do not leave a space between the quotation marks LOAD is obtained by pressing the J Key. The " are obtained by pressing the SYMBOL SHIFT and the P keys together. 4. Press PLAY on the cassette recorder 5. THE CASSETTE WILL NOW LOAD AUTOMATICALLY and a message will appear on the screen after several seconds. If loading is unsuccessful rewind the cassette adjust the VOLUME control on the recorder and try again. NOTE: Full loading instructions can be found in your Spectrum manual. 6. PLAY THE GAME For better sound effects you can increase the volume by connecting the MIC socket on your Spectrum to the MIC socket on your recorder. Disconnect the EAR lead, remove the cassette tape from the recorder and press the PLAY button, the sound may be amplified through the Loudspeaker of the recorder.
