POKER DICE SIMULATOR - FROZEN ICE W E L C O M E T O P O K E R D I C E S I M U L A T O R (c) 1989 Frozen Ice Programming: Stephen Corry INTRODUCTION This game was designed as a simple experiment in artificial intelligence; the computer would roll five dice, then decide whether or not it was necessary to continue, and if so, which dice it should keep and which to re-roll. HOW TO PLAY The aim is to win all of your opponent's money by betting on a series of poker dice. After rolling the dice, select the ones you want to keep by pressing the corresponding number beneath the dice - selections are highlighted, and can be toggled in case you change your mind - then press Enter to roll the remaining dice. BETTING There are three rolls per turn after which you must bet that your score will be highest. The minimum and maximum bets are $5 and $25 respectively. Press 1 or 0 to increase or decrease the stake, then press Enter to add your bet to the pot. The opponent will now place a bet before rolling his/her poker dice. The highest score wins the pot, however, in the event of a draw, the pot will remain status quo, and the subsequent bets added to its total.
