METALDRONE Sparklers 1.99 Range for the Spectrum 48/128k CSAE.621 (on inlay card) CSAG.621 (on cassette label) The latest in Krail War-Droid technology is to be tested on the toughest assault course yet built ... The "Cybasphere". It isn't easy, it would be beyond human ability, but the Metaldrone might just (and only just) make it! * 10 Levels * Wide range of weaponry; ie. jetpacks, laser disks, missile disks, spikes and explosive charges, to name but a few. PLAYING THE GAME You are the METALDRONE, the latest in a series of war-droids. To test your ability, you have been placed on the Cybasphere Assault Course, an artificial course which consists of 10 levels. To complete a level, you must find a disk, shoot the Cybasphere Leader (the Leader will appear in a certain room on each level from out of a "generator"), pick up the missile disk that he will drop, fire the missile at the level's exit door, and go through to the next level. The Metaldrone has an energy level which ticks down gradually. A life is lost when it runs out. Each level has its own time limit. If this runs out, a life is lost, and the level begins again from the start. To hinder your progress, robots known as Cybaspheres will emerge from the "generators" that are littered about each level. They can be shot, but not in their boots. Touching them is fatal. Various objects are to be found lying about, the uses of which you must find out for yourself. SOME OF THESE OBJECTS ARE:- JETPACK Fits on back of Metaldrone enabling vertical movement. BUCKET No use whatsoever! BOOTS Make the Metaldrone able to jump. LASER DISK Increments laser power. RUBBER DUCK Gives you extra time. EXIT SIGN Pretty obvious! BALL AND CHAIN Stops Metaldrone from moving (temporary). MISSILE DISK Gives you a missile. NRG PACK Gives you full energy.
