THE LITTLE WANDERING GURU (Zenobi Software) A Graphic Adventure for the ZX Spectrum Spectrum 48K/128K+2 Over the years there had been many strange and at times exciting journeys. Some had taken place in the vast uncharted wastes of forgotten realms, whilst others had merely been in some far-flung corner of this world. There had been flights of fancy astride the broad back of some mythical creature and battles with fiendish demons and all-powerful wizards, but through it all the traveller bad been secure in the knowledge that no matter what the outcome, there would always be another task to undertake, another quest to follow ........ This, however, is the tale of a "not so little" adventurer on what is very probably his very last escapade in the distant lands and forgotten realms. Our "not so little" adventurer begins his ultimate quest in the confines of his own cosy little home, where he must gather up whatever be needs to brave stepping out of his front door. Once outside, destiny decrees that be will encounter a fairly wise guru who will, in turn, send him on his way ....... NOTES ... Throughout the game all available exits will be marked by the fact of the "on-screen" arrows being lit, so if the lit arrow points WEST then that will mean that there is an available exit in that particular direction .,. though sometimes it will be necessary to perform an "action" before you will be allowed to use that exit. Use QSAVE and QLOAD to save a game position to memory, though it is advisable to use the normal SAVE and LOAD to make a more permanent record onto tape. The game will recognise all the standard inputs such as EXAMINE, OPEN, LOOK and many others too numerous to mention. Not all the problems can be solved in a "straightforward" manner, as some of them will require a slight touch of "lateral thinking", but they can all be solved and will need to be before this particular quest comes to an end ... If it ever does!
