INTRODUCTION Gob was a collaboration between Simon Fitzpatrick and Malcolm Tyrrell. We were in our early-to-mid teens when we worked on it and it shows. It is a fairly dreadful adventure game in the familiar comedy/fantasy genre. Features include: * Death by Puke, * Fortuatous Suicide, * Corpse-as-raft. Unfortunately we never completed this important work, and for years it was forgotten and lost. But in an attic, a cassette waited patiently to be rediscovered... COMPATIBILITY Gob is a 128K Spectrum program, so you'll need a spectrum emulator that can deal with these and can load either .tap files or .z80 files. LICENSE Gob and its source are (C) Simon Fitzpatrick and Malcolm Tyrrell. You may distribute them freely. WARRANTY Gob comes with no warranty whatsoever. You use it entirely at your own risk. INSTRUCTIONS There is no attainable goal, as the game is incomplete. Here are a few things you might attempt: * Get the sword, * Get the rope, * Explore the village, * Find the book and read all of it, * Find flaws in the game logic, * Find the numerous grammatical and spelling errors in the text. Looking in the sources will provide you with hints on how to do these, and also suggest other challenges.
