Crime Busters is recorded at the beginning of each side of the

cassette.  48K owners type LOAD "" (ENTER).  128K owners first

select 48K basic from the menu.

The Joe Blade II demo is recorded after the main game, A side.  48K

owners type LOAD "" (ENTER) (no music on 48K version).  128K

owners use LOADER option on menu.

The 128K 'CD' demo is recorded after the main game on side B.  Use

the LOADER option on the menu,  The 'CD' demo only works on

128K machines.



			CRIME BUSTERS THE STORY



Extract taken from SLKYZ: RADIO SLOUGH, 15:08 / 15 AUGUST

1988.

'This is SLKYZ, more music - more power - more jingles.  SLKYZ is

Sloughs only 24 hours, stereo, rock music station.

This is SD sitting in for KC, I'm here to fill you in on what's

happening on the Slough, showbiz social scene tonight.  The biggest

social event of the year has to be the annual 'Richard Jones'

Barbeque, anybody who's ANYBODY will be there.  We hope to be

interviewing some of the mega-rich and famous people who attend.

We'll be trying to catch a few words with, mega-famous,

programmer Colin 'Swinberilliant' Swinbourne, author of JOE

BLADE, and if we're really lucky, we may even be able to talk to the

mysterious JABBA.  Who is this mysterious man of mystery who

hides behind his mysterious pseudonym...?

SLKYZ will reveal all at 9:30, with our live outside broadcast.  Now

back to the music, with my new record of the week; Mike Brown's

Joe Blade II dance-mix.'

This is your chance to make loadsamoney.  All the rich and famous

will be at the barbeque.  Leaving you with loadsatime to break into

their mansions and steal their valuables.  Unfortunately the CRIME

BUSTERS have learnt of your plans and are out to catch you.



			     THE CONTROLS



On the menu screen move left and right using Q and W, select a

control option by jumping up on the trampoline and touching the

control icon as it floats past.

Pressing O will allow you to choose an opponent for the two player

game, use keys O and P to select.

Pressing T will allow you to practise your burglary skills.

To start the game press J.

In the main game, Player 1 should use the selected option, SPACE

opens/closes a door, Player 2 must use the O and P keys.  Player 1

must steal 5 objects before advancing to the next mansion,  Player 2

must try to catch him.  You can only use a trampoline 4 times in

succession, and there is a time limit.  If you run out of time or if the

CRIME BUSTERS catch you, they will throw you in Jail.
